Mr. Limanek and his wife, Arlene, have been residents of Sutton since 1997. They have two children, Justin and Hannah, currently enrolled in the Sutton Public Schools. He is a graduate of Northbridge High School, earned a B.A. and a M.Ed. in History and Political Science from Worcester State College, and a J.D. from Massachusetts School of Law. He passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 2011.
Since 1996, he worked in education. Starting in special education and then later as a general classroom teacher at the middle school level, Mr. Limanek shifted focus to adult education in 2002. Since then, he was worked as an adjunct faculty member at Nichols College and Quinsigamond Community College, teaching history, political science, and law.
In 2009, he was elected to the Sutton School Committee, and reelected for a second term in 2012. For the last two years he has served as the vice-chairman. Additionally, he has been a member of the Republican Town Committee since 2012.
Mr. Limanek has also volunteered as coach in the Sutton Youth Baseball League for the last seven years.
He is a member of the Worcester Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Central MA Council for Social Studies, the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, GOAL – Lifetime Member, and the NRA – Lifetime Member.
